“What would you like the card to read?” the flower shop owner asked. “Actually, could I send this instead?” He took the sealed envelope and looked at the name written on the outside. “No problem. And you want these delivered by when?” he asked. “Is four o’clock too late?” “Nah kid, I’ll make sure she gets them at four,” he replied. “Thank you, very much.” she said, handing the money for the flowers, then left the shop with a smile on her face. “She’s gone... you can come out now,” he said over his shoulder. He waited for the young woman to emerge from the back, before asking, “So... what time did you want these delivered?” “Is... is four too late?” she said, a smile appearing on her face. Shaking his head, he replied, “Nah kid... she’ll get them at four.” “Thank you,” she told him, going to the front door of the shop and looking out the window. Once she was sure it was safe, she left. The shop owner smiled to himself. He had been in business a long time, but this was the only time he had this happen to him. He looked down at the nearly identical envelopes they had given him and chuckled softly. “Well... they’ve got good taste,” he said to himself, placing the card on the appropriate bouquets. One read, Willow. While the other read, Tara. The End.
