Well, here we are...

The story that started it all for me. This is set in a slightly A.U. as it was written long before Buffy and the Gang graduated from high school.

Therefore, don't expect to see Oz, or Faith, or even Anya. Angel does play an important part of the story.

The story as I make mention in the author's notes, departs from the show in another important aspect, the relationships Willow and Xander have with their parents are completely opposite than what is considered canon.

I'd like to take a moment and thank all of those who've written to me over the years since I first posted the story.

I feel truly blessed to have written something that so many people enjoyed reading.

And once more, I must thank Tracy Reid, my beta reader. This was the first Willow/Giles story she ever beta'd. She was the person who not only introduced me to WAFFies, but (blushing) she taught me the meaning of the question mark. I would have the characters ask questions, yet I never used the question mark at the end.

I don't know how she put up with me.
