She couldn’t believe it, Buffy was married. They had just come from Buffy and Riley’s wedding. She made a beautiful bride, and Giles was every bit the doting father as he gave her away. The look on his face when Buffy had asked him to do the honor more than made up for her own father’s absence. Buffy’s father was overseas and couldn’t make it in time for his only child’s wedding. Buffy had been crushed, but not as much as she thought she should be, or so she told her. Willow thought that she had never seen Giles as happy as he was today. Wiping at his eyes, muttering some nonsense about dust getting into them. ‘Big softy,’ she thought to herself. It was a wonderful day, and Willow smiled as she recalled when Xander had pulled Buffy and herself out to the dance floor, like old times. And seeing Anya standing at the edge of the dance floor, her hands on her hips, her foot tapping steadily and not to the beat of the song. She had even danced with Buffy. And why not? They had danced before at the Bronze, on many occasions. How was this any different? ‘Because you were in love with her,’ her inner voice answered. “That’s true,” she muttered softly. But, what she felt for Buffy... it wasn’t the same as what she felt for someone else. She shook her head at the thoughts of what ‘might have been.’ And now looked forward to what was. She was roused from her thoughts when she felt Tara’s arms wrap themselves around her from behind. Willow moved her neck to the side and allowed Tara unrestricted access. She shivered when Tara’s lips finally made contact.
It’s amazing how you can It was as if Tara knew she needed her, wanted her.
Without saying a word, Her touch lit her soul on fire.
Try as I may I could
What I hear They communicated with each other with more than just words. Their actions showed one another the depth of their feelings.
The smile on your face She loved the way Tara smiled. How it made her feel, all tingly inside with the thought that this gorgeous woman loved her. She turned around and saw the special smile Tara now wore and the fluttering in her stomach began once again.
There’s a truth in your It would be a dream come true for them. Especially living next to the Hellmouth, when nothing was ever written in stone.
The touch of your hand And her touch... Branded her with a flame of desire, passion... Of love.
Now you say it best...
When you say nothing Willow thoughts once again went back to the wedding and the reception as they made their way into their bedroom.
All day long I hear people It was a noisy affair. People milling around, eating, laughing, generally having a good time. The fact that the protection spell she, Tara and Giles had come up with, effectively kept all the uninvited guests to a minimum probably helped.
But when you hold me near...
You drown out the crowd... It was at the precise moment, when she and Tara had gone to the dance floor; when all she heard, saw and felt was Tara... It was then that she realized the true depth of her feelings for Tara. No one had made the world disappear. No one.
Old Mr. Webster could never define...
What’s being said...
Between your heart and mine When they made it to their bedroom, they stood facing each other. Willow could see Tara’s pulse beating rapidly, and knew she was the one that made it happen. They stepped forward at the same time, delighting in the warmth of each others body.
The smile on your face...
Lets me know that you love me Willow felt Tara pull back ever so briefly, before smiling once again and kissing her.
There’s a truth in your eyes...
Saying you’ll never leave me Tara looked into Willow’s eyes and was awed by the love she saw there. She wasn’t sure what had happened when they entered their apartment after leaving the wedding reception, but she felt that this was what Willow wanted... needed. And she would do her best to make sure that Willow always got whatever she desired.
The touch of your hand They caressed each other, slowly, allowing the love they shared slowly ignite into a burning passion that would sweep them both away.
Now you say it best...
When you say nothing at all Willow wanted nothing more than to hear Tara’s voice, echoing the fulfillment they shared...
The smile on your face
There’s a truth in your eyes...
Saying you’ll never leave me
The touch of your hand
When you say nothing at all “Willow!” Tara cried out as she fell into Willow’s arms after the ascending to the dizzying heights of pleasure. Kissing her, Willow held on tight. Knowing nothing would change this perfect moment. ‘Nothing at all,’ she thought. The End
